Ukhamba Canister-1

An unusual wide-mouthed, straight-sided shape, the Ukhamba canister works as well for storage as it does in a collection of Zulu baskets.

Handwoven from ilala palm in Zululand, South Africa, these lidded canisters are all-natural, with dyes made from flower petals and mud. Ukhamba baskets are part of Zulu wedding tradition, gifted to a new household. Every canister is handmade and fairly traded, and each is one of a kind.

Use it to store things at home or the office, or group it with other Ukhamba shapes.

You will receive one canister very similar to the one pictured. Dust gently; keep out of prolonged damp.
