- Though made using a single weaving style and for the same purpose, each of these baskets is woven in a shape favored by the weaver, and thus each possess a personal flair.
- These baskets are woven by women of the pastoralist Rendille and Sambaru peoples. The creation and sale of these baskets serves both to preserve the tradition of this weaving style and to ease economic strain brought on by a changing climate.
