The Maasai and Kikiyu people continue a long history as some of the foremost bead workers in Africa. The skills to create beadwork has been passed down through many generations and these cultures are famous throughout the world for their beadwork.
My baskets arrived safely on Friday. They are all wonderful, all of the highest workmanship. All I can say about the beaded copper basket is WOW. It is absolutely fabulous. When I hold that basket up to the light and look at the bottom of it, it looks like very fine lace. Catherine
