In the Western province of Zambia, not far from the border with Angola, the mostly Mbunda speaking people weave these ruggedly unique baskets.
These baskets are of a similar style to those woven in nearby Zimbabwe, but with a more rustic touch.

I love this basket. It is extremely well crafted. It's very strong, sturdy and will last for years. I bought it for my sewing, but you could use it for whatever.
