Weaving Makenge Bush Root Baskets in Zambia
In the Western province of Zambia, not far from the border with Angola, the mostly Mbunda speaking people weave these ruggedly unique baskets.
These baskets are of a similar style to those woven in nearby Zimbabwe, but with a more rustic touch.

I think I have at least one basket in every room of my home, including bathrooms. They are so beautiful, the shapes, the colors and of course how masterfully they are crafted.
