The age-old tradition of basket weaving is usually passed down from grandmother to granddaughter. This helps to preserve Zulu culture as the grandmothers have the opportunity to recite oral history and stories to the younger generations as they all weave together.
It was hard to decide between them. They are all very beautiful. I love the basket I have by Nomkhosi Nkosi. It is displayed prominently in my living room. It's inspiring to have such amazing pieces of art in my home! Clare
My wife LOVES the two baskets I got her for Christmas... too much... She won't use them. She just wants them for decorations. I wanted to replace old baskets with really pretty ones. oh well. :) Dave
